Jonang Kalachakra Stupa – Nové Zámky

At the Buddhist center Tibet Park – Jonang Tashi Choeling in Nové Zámky, Slovakia, an exceptional Jonang Kalachakra Stupa is being built — only the second of its kind in the world. The first Jonang Kalachakra Stupa was constructed in 2015 in Se Gompa, in the Amdo region of Tibet.

The stupa in Nové Zámky will stand 13 meters tall, with its inauguration planned for May 18, 2025. The construction is being carried out under the guidance of H.E. Alak Jonang Dzaltsab Rinpoche, the main lama of the Jonang tradition. Once completed, the stupa will be open to the public during the opening hours of the teahouse located within Tibet Park.
