Enlightenment Stupa – Újezd nad Zbečnem

The Enlightenment Stupa is located on the grounds of the KARMA KUNGHA PADKAR LING meditation, relaxation and healing centre. Symbolizes Buddha's enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Preparations for its construction began in early 2024 and was completed the same year under the guidance of Maniwa Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche. The inauguration took place on September 11, 2024. The centre itself is still under construction, but visitors will be allowed access to the stupa. Precious Buddhist relics were used in the construction include relics of Buddha Shakyamuni. Its parts are made of artificial stone specially created to ensure the durability of the stupa.
